statement:

An exploratory look at textures, colors and motion by means of aleatoric processes - the incorporation of chance into the process of creation.  The root of such creation is often a series of images that randomly populate a photostream with a subconscious emotional reference.  In some cases this occurs when I am drawn to, obsessed, or fascinated by the way something looks.  The process results in representational abstraction which can be similar to exploring the unseen familiar in unexpected connections that occur.  By ignoring objective truths and global cultural narratives, I formalize the coincidental and emphasize the conscious process of composition behind seemingly random works. The private thought processes are subjective and unfiltered as references to dream worlds that are continually unfolding.
